The Dutch fans honour their reputation as some of the world’s most enthusiastic supporters when they dress up for the 2010 FIFA World Cup matches.

Wearing everything from clogs, milkmaid dresses and pilots uniforms, to clown trousers and orange wigs of all shapes and sizes, the fans descended on Cape Town in full force. The streets, bars, restaurants and fan zones were awash with orange, bringing colour to the football celebrations.

Dutch fans made news headlines early on in the tournament when 36 fans from Holland dressed in mini skirts were arrested for promoting an unlicensed beer brand. All charges were eventually dropped.
