Davina Jogi works as the Assistant Photo Editor for The Times in South Africa. She also has worked on projects as a freelancer, such as photographing in Zambia for the International Organisation for Migration, covering the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, movie stills for music videos and various assignments for ZAM Africa magazine in the Netherlands.

She is a graduate of the Market Photo Workshop. She is interested in photographing people and their daily lives, conflict and travel photography. Her hobbies include traveling, football, reading and 4x4ing/camping across South Africa.

Soccer City Stadium

Soccer City Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, the showpiece venue of the 2010 World Cup, will host both the opening and closing games of the South African tournament. Over 3,000 workers were employed at the site, the majority of whom came from nearby Soweto township and other surrounding areas.
