Ramata Soré is a journalist in Burkina Faso working for the newspaper L’Evénement since 2001. She began her career with the Belgian newspaper La Libre Belgique. Ramata holds an MA in Journalism and an MA in Environmental Sciences from Ouagadougou University in Burkina Faso. She also holds a degree in Multimedia Communication from both Ouagadougou University and Mans University in France and, in the last year, pursued studies on the freedom of expression in Burkina Faso at Oxford. She has won a number of awards and distinctions, including the prestigious CNN Multi-Choice Award in 2006, a Reuters IUCN Media Award in 2008 and second place prize Albert Londres Award. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, jogging, blogging and surfing.

 

Ramata Soré est une journaliste en Burkina Faso et travaille pour le journal L’Evénement depuis 2001. Sa carrière a commence avec le journal belgique La Libre Belgique. Ramata est titulaire d’une Maîtrise de journalisme et d’une Maîtrise de environmental science à La Université du Ouagadougou en Burkina Faso. Elle est aussi titulaire en multimedia communication à La Université du Ouagadougou et l’université le Mans en france. Elle a gagné plusiers prixes: le prestigeaux CNN Multi-Choice Award en 2006, un Reuters IUCN Media Award en 2008 et le deuxième prix Albert Londres Award. Ses hobbies sont lirer, voyage, blogging, et surfing.
