Scara is a Senior Producer Radio at Namibia Broadcasting Corporation. He currently works as a sports commentator for boxing, athletics and soccer. He is also in her final year of studying for his LLB.

His work covers the subjects of sports, politics and courts. His previous work includes Regional Reporter for Botswana Press Agency, Regional Bureau Chief for Namibia Press Agency, Editor-in-Chief of the University of Namibia Campus Newspaper and Namibian Correspondent for African Soccer Magazine. His hobbies include horse riding, soccer, reading magazines and hunting.
