Walter Onyango Omolo is a freelance journalist in Kenya. He worked for the Kenya Times newspaper as Sports Editor.

Some of the assignments he has covered are the Olympic games, the Commonwealth Games, the Africa Cup of Nations and the Central Africa Senior Challenge Cup.

He was named the Sports Journalist of the Year in 2002. He has a strong foundation in sports reporting and is interested in covering any subjects of themes related to sports.
